The presentations can be from disciplines of Literary Theory, Philology, Textology, Linguistics, Literature and Interpretation, Literature as a meeting place of cultures, Transnational Literature and Culture, Translation Studies, and Multilingual literatures.

Date of the conference: May 14-16, 2021 – online

If you are interested in 19th, 20th Century and Contemporary Literature or Language and Culture, or if:

  • You want to test your presentation skills in a culturally diverse (and accepting) environment, and
  • You can present in English or German, or
  • You simply want to listen to presentations from the comfort of your home, and connect with people on these subjects from all around the world,

THIS CONFERENCE IS FOR YOU!

Proposal Requirements:

The presentation proposals should be in the following subject areas (20 min. presentation + 10 min. Q&A):

  • cultural identity in literature or language,
  • social media and literature,
  • language/literature of friendship and human connections,
  • cultural crossovers,
  • literary networks, and
  • cultural adaptation.
