Az előadás leírása:

Based on his recent publications "In Praise of Athletic Beauty" and "The Stadium as a Ritual of Intensity" (Szépség a sportban. Tömeg a stadionban. Kijárat Kiadó, 2022), Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht will give an introduction to the aesthetics and phenomenology of how athletic bodies and stadium crowds might be perceived and interpreted.

Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht is Presidential Professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Albert Guérard Professor Emeritus in Literature in the Departments of Comparative Literature and of French & Italian at Stanford University, and affiliated with the Department of Iberian and Latin American Cultures/ILAC, the Department of German Studies, and the Program in Modern Thought & Literature.
